'99 Honda VTR

Home Up Montana Trip

Information

My latest toy is my new bike.  The photos below show it in its "purchased" condition.  Click on each image to get a "big" version of the photos.  The images are only 640x480 full-size, but it's enough to tell it's fast!  The previous owner has done the following things:

Yoshimura Titanium Slip-on Exhaust cans
Racetech front fork springs
Braided steel brake lines
"Shimmed" rear shock (a common performance mod)
Zero Gravity windscreen
Carbon Fiber rear tire hugger
New chain/sprockets
Newer Bridgestone BT-56ss tires
Factory Manuals
Receipts for EVERY penny spent on it (oil, filters, everything!)

Since the bike came with all these goodies, there really  isn't that much for me to do.  There are some cracks around the mounting holes on the rear fiberglass, so I'll be fixing that soon.  Also, the rear hugger is WAY too close to the tire on the side opposite the chain, so I've been looking at ways to re-mount it.  Hope to have that fixed soon, as it looks so much prettier with a clean shock ;)
